A Partnership Rooted
in Standards, Training,

Kozo Homecare Services is proud to announce our official affiliation and collaboration with the Health Care Givers Association of Zambia (HCGAZ) — a milestone that reflects our unwavering commitment to quality, accountability, and care that truly makes a difference.
Association of Zambia
Kozo Homecare Services &
HCGAZ — Official Partners
We are thrilled to share a significant milestone in the journey of Kozo Homecare Services: the successful completion of our affiliation process with the Health Care Givers Association of Zambia (HCGAZ). This collaboration marks a defining chapter for our organization — one that speaks directly to who we are and the standard of care we hold ourselves to.
This affiliation was not simply a box to tick. It was a deliberate, values-driven decision to ensure that every caregiver who walks through a client's door under the Kozo Homecare name is trained, monitored, and guided by a recognized body whose mission aligns with our own: compassionate, high-quality, community-centred care.
"Caring with Compassion, Serving with Purpose." — The motto of the Health Care Givers Association of Zambia, and a standard we at Kozo Homecare are proud to uphold.
Who Is HCGAZ?
The Health Care Givers Association of Zambia is based at Lottie House, Cairo Road, Lusaka, and is dedicated to supplementing government efforts in improving healthcare service delivery across the country. Their objectives include improving healthcare service delivery to the elderly, homeless children, and chronically ill patients in their homes, hospitals, clinics, and hospices — in line with Universal Health Coverage (UHC) — and enhancing wider coverage of quality healthcare services in Zambia.
Their vision is to provide affordable, high-quality long-term care for the elderly, establish supportive frameworks and environments for all ages, and promote active and healthy aging. HCGAZ operates a structured caregiver training programme — the Community Health Assistant certificate — and works to build a trained, accountable caregiver workforce across Zambia.
In short, they are doing exactly the kind of institutional work that makes community-based care more professional, more consistent, and more trustworthy — and we are honoured to be formally aligned with them.
How This Collaboration Elevates Your Care
This partnership is not an internal achievement that stays within our walls. It translates directly into better, more accountable, more reliable care for every client and family we serve. Here is what this collaboration means in practice:
Structured Caregiver Training
Our caregivers will be trained under the oversight of HCGAZ — ensuring skills are built to a recognized, consistent standard.
Independent Monitoring
HCGAZ will oversee our operations, providing an independent layer of quality assurance that goes beyond self-regulation.
Operational Compliance
We will operate in line with the required standards set by a recognized body — giving families genuine confidence in our practice.
Aligned with Universal Health Coverage
Our work now sits within the national framework of UHC — contributing to Zambia's broader healthcare goals at a community level.
A Milestone We Are Proud Of
To our team at Kozo Homecare Services — this one is for you. Every caregiver who has shown up with dedication, every administrative effort that kept us moving forward, and every client who trusted us through our growth — this milestone belongs to all of you.
Becoming formally affiliated with HCGAZ is a recognition that the work we are doing matters — and that we are doing it the right way. It affirms our belief that quality homecare starts with accountability, and that our clients and their families deserve nothing less than care they can trust completely.
We look forward to growing this collaboration, deepening our training, and continuing to raise the bar for what compassionate, professional non-medical homecare looks like in Zambia.
